Huffington Post celebrates the 46th birthday of actress Connie Britton ’89 by listing 46 “reasons to love her.”

Among them: Instead of skipping high school or college to pursue her career, Britton, who stars in ABC’s Nashville, made education a priority, majoring in Asian studies at Dartmouth. Huffington Post quotes the actress as saying, “In college, I always said I believe that having as extensive an experience of other cultures and other people as possible will make me a better actress. I still believe that to this day.”
